ร้านปลาแม่น้ำในบ้านไม้ริมเจ้าพระยา
บ้านไม้ของเราตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาที่ตำบลน้ำตาล อำเภออินทร์บุรี เมนูเกือบทั้งร้านเป็นปลาแม่น้ำ ทั้งต้ม แกง ทอด และลวกจิ้ม จานที่คนถามถึงมากที่สุดคือปลาม้าจื๊อน้ำ
Our wooden house stands on the Chao Phraya at Nam Tan, In Buri. Almost everything we cook is river fish, soups, curries, fried and blanched, and the dish people ask for most is chue pla ma.

ปลาแม่น้ำเป็นวัตถุดิบหลักของเกือบทุกจานในร้านเรา ชนิดปลาในแต่ละวันขึ้นกับที่หามาได้ ถ้าไม่รู้จะสั่งอะไร ถามเจ้าของร้านได้เลย เราชอบแนะนำปลาที่เข้ามาวันนั้น
จานเด่นของบ้านคือปลาม้าจื๊อน้ำ น้ำแกงรสเปรี้ยวนำ เผ็ดนิด ๆ ได้ความหวานจากเนื้อปลาม้าและหัวหอม ปรุงตามตำรับของครอบครัว ส่วนไข่เจียวปลาเป็นอีกจานที่ลูกค้าชอบสั่งคู่กัน
นอกจากนี้ยังมีปลาหางไก่ทอดกระเทียมที่กรอบจนกินได้ทั้งตัว ปลากดคังลวกจิ้มกับน้ำจิ้มซีฟู้ด ฉู่ฉี่ปลาน้ำเงิน และปลาทอดน้ำปลาอีกหลายชนิด
ตัวบ้านยกสูงหนีน้ำหลาก ห้องครัวกับที่นั่งกินอยู่ชั้นบน มีทั้งห้องแอร์และระเบียงไม้ที่มองข้ามแนวเขื่อนออกไปเห็นแม่น้ำ
River fish is the base of nearly every dish we cook. What we have depends on the catch; ask us and we will tell you what is good that day.
The house dish is chue pla ma: a sour, lightly spicy soup sweetened by the fish itself and onion, cooked to the family recipe. Many guests pair it with our fish omelette.
The house stands on stilts against the floods. Climb up to the kitchen and dining floor and sit in the cool indoor room or out on the wooden deck above the levee, looking at the river.
